Our retreat is located in southeastern British Columbia, nestled in the Monashee mountains next to Whatshan Lake. We are just minutes away from the community of Edgewood.
The Retreat Centre Lodge offers full facilities for Corporate Retreats, seminars, workshops, family gatherings, weddings, concerts, and youth activities. Our acoustically engineered stage is perfect for music festivals and playing sessions under the stars.
At Whatshan you can get away from it all to enjoy quiet peaceful walks and moments of contemplation. Paddle your canoe or kayak on the lake or plunge into bracing cool waters of the swimming hole in the nearby river.
In the winter bring your snowshoes and skis and trek through over 200 acres of wilderness and beyond and then warm everyone up with some hot chocolate in one of our modern cabins.
Whatshan Jam Special Announcement
It is with mixed emotions that we announce the decision has been made to change the approach to the Music Festival. For our 20th Anniversary we would like to share a legacy of an annual Whatshan Family and Friends Weekend on the 2nd weekend in July, where you and your family, friends and groups can continue to meet every year. This will replace the well known Whatshan Jam Festival. All previous activities such as food booths, the music program, etc. will not be continued. Although there will not be any structured program, fun and activities are always welcome on this weekend.
In honor of our legacy, we would like to thank all of our past guests, bands, musicians, vendors, attendees and especially the volunteers who have made this event monumental over many, many years.
